Wish Neibul is the incomplete embodiment of a fallen star—divinity that failed to become a god. Raised as a Drakyn, her identity was shaped by love rather than origin, grounding her in a world that never meant to remember stars. Her history is defined not by destiny or prophecy, but by consequence: what happens when something divine arrives too late, and must learn how to exist without a role.
Wish unconsciously influences water and moisture in her immediate environment, causing subtle shifts such as calming rough currents, clearing murky water, or dampening unstable magical reactions. These effects are passive rather than deliberate and often go unnoticed unless they fail to occur. In rare moments of extreme stress, the surrounding environment may briefly respond in ways that feel disproportionate to the situation, though Wish herself experiences this only as physical strain or emotional overload.
Wish has an innate ease with water-aligned environments, adapting quickly where others struggle. She is naturally receptive to emotional undercurrents and environmental “pressure,” sensing imbalance without needing to name it. Her instincts favor preservation and stabilization over disruption.
Wish lacks conscious control over her abilities and cannot intentionally activate or amplify them. Attempts to force a response result in fatigue, headaches, nausea, or emotional shutdown. Prolonged exposure to dry, artificial, or heavily regulated environments weakens her responsiveness and increases physical strain.
Her abilities manifest most reliably near natural bodies of water or during heightened emotional states. Emotional suppression, fear, or self-doubt can completely prevent any manifestation.
Wish is outwardly gentle and soft-spoken, but internally complex and often conflicted. She is deeply empathetic, absorbing the emotions of others almost instinctively, which makes her compassionate but easily overwhelmed. Raised with love yet born from something broken, she struggles with a quiet sense of wrongness—an intuition that she is not unfinished, but misaligned. She is curious and hopeful by nature, but that hope is cautious, shaped by an unconscious fear that wanting too much may cause harm. Beneath her kindness is a latent intensity she does not yet understand or trust.
Neutral Good
“When people look at me too closely, I feel like they’re expecting something I don’t have instructions for.””
“I don’t mind being overlooked. It’s quieter.”
“People talk like answers fix things. Sometimes they just make them louder.”
A calm, steady presence and respected member of the Water Drakyn clan. Soryn is patient and quietly protective, believing that strength is shown through restraint. He never questioned where Wish came from—only whether she was safe and loved.
Warm, perceptive, and emotionally intuitive, Maelis was the one who wished upon the falling star. She treats Wish with unwavering affection while encouraging independence, trusting that answers should come in their own time.
Wish began as a star—one of many formless divine remnants that exist without identity until descent. Long after the Double Descent of Gaia and Terra, she fell alone. There was no second god to balance her impact, no world prepared to shape her into something whole. Her descent failed. The star did not become a god, nor did it reshape reality; instead, it fractured, condensing into a living being without purpose, authority, or memory of what she had been.
She was discovered near the impact site by a water-aligned Drakyn couple who had made a wish upon the falling star for a child. Whether coincidence or consequence, the wish was answered. They took her in without question, unaware that the star itself had survived the fall in incomplete form.
Wish was raised entirely within the Water Drakyn clan, learning their values of balance, restraint, and coexistence. She grew up loved and protected, taught that family was chosen and responsibility was shared. While she appeared mostly Drakyn, small inconsistencies followed her through childhood—an unnatural calm around volatile water, moments where her presence subtly altered the environment, and a persistent sense of being slightly misaligned with the world around her. These signs were never named or feared, allowing her to grow without the weight of expectation or myth.
As Wish entered adolescence, the quiet discrepancies of her existence became harder to ignore. Her abilities became more noticeable, and her internal sense of displacement deepened. These changes do not yet reveal her origin, but they begin to strain the assumptions she has lived under—marking the slow start of an arc that will eventually force the truth of her descent into the open.
Wish — Refers to the act that brought her into the world rather than her nature.
Neibul — Derived from “nebula,” referencing stellar origin without direct mythic labeling.
